Dragonfly Farms is diverse vegetable farm located in Pepperell, Massachusetts. We grow vegetables, herbs, and cut flowers at our farm at 40 Prescott St, as well as on nearby leased land. We employ only organic and sustainable methods, as outlined by the Baystate Organics Certification Program, for producing our crops and are looking to become certified in the future.

We believe strongly in feeding the soil to produce a healthy plant and spend many of our resources in building up and sustaining organic matter in the soil via various cover crops, organic soil admendments and compost, and crop rotations. Healthly soil grows healthly plants!

In the conventional/industrialized food system the average meal travels 1,500 miles before reaching your table. With this highly centralized food chain it is impossible to know how our food was grown, washed, packaged, stored, and transported. Conversely, local food systems build community and develop regional identity and character. They provide more meaningful livelihoods for food and agriculture workers, encourage community interaction, and build respectful relationships. We see no reason that communities cannot feed themselves and are betting on it by doing our best to grow and sell our produce locally using local resources.

You can support our farm by buying our vegetables at various local farmers' markets, through our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) subscription program, and at our farm stand in Pepperell.

We attend the following farmers' markets:

• Westford Town Common on Tuesdays from 2:30pm to 6:30pm starting June 19th
• Allston Farmers' Market on Fridays from 3pm to 7pm starting June 15th
• Pepperell Farmers' Market at the Town Field on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm starting on June 23rd
• Acton Boxborough Farmers' Market on Sundays from 10am to 1pm starting June 17th
