Who We Are

We are Susan and Frank Ventura and we have owned our property since 1999. For the 20 years prior to 1999, the back fields were being used as hay fields, so we spent several years working on building back up the organic matter and fertility of the soil. We started selling vegetables as Dragonfly Farms in 2003 from a cart in front of the house. Gradually we expanded to also attend several farmer's markets in the area. In 2009 we started a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) subscription program.
