Our Products
Every year we downsize our egg laying chicken flock as we do not have winter coop space to house more than 70 hens.
We sell the majority of our one and two year old hens in October once our summer CSA season is over. These hens have been out on pasture in moveable coops for the majority of their lives and have been fed organic chicken grain along with vegetable scraps from our fields.
These hens are still laying eggs very productively so you will get several more years of egg production from them. The breed varies from year to year but all are bred for low feed to egg production.
We sell these birds at cost in hopes that they go to good homes rapidly in the fall.
