What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Members of the community purchase "shares" of the season's harvest before the growing season. Shareholders pickup up their share of the harvest each week at the designated pickup locations. This arrangement provides the farmer with much needed financial stability at the beginning of the growing season when costs are high and provides the shareholder with the freshest and highest quality produce.

The environmental and social repercussions of our food choices are crucial to consider in a society where most food travels thousands of miles before it reaches our tables. As a CSA shareholder you will be actively preserving local farms as well as enjoying the freshest, most affordable produce that is harvested for you daily.
