The interior is meaty with few seeds and has full flavor for salads or cooking. The only red tomato of this type known. Ordered from Johnny's Selected Seeds who thank Craig LeHoullier for this tomato, which he got from J. Reif, PA, who received it from an elderly Italian man. Indeterminate.

Yellow Pear (Heirloom)

Petite, distinctive salad tomato. Tall, vigorous vine bears quantities of small, 3/4 to 1 oz., lemon yellow, pear-shaped fruits. These unusual, appealing tomatoes are a focal point when served whole in salads or in lightly cooked summer vegetable dishes. Mild flavor. Indeterminate.

Bellstar Salsa

Medium large, avg. 3-4 oz., oval-round red fruits are jointless (pick without stems) and easy to harvest. Good taste for canning or fresh. Larger and earlier than other sauce tomatoes. Compact plant with a concentrated early set. Developed by Dr. Jack Metcalf, Smithfield Experiment Farm, Ontario, Canada. Determinate. Organically grown
.

New Girl
Maturity: 62 Days Taste tops the charts. Grow this for quantities of medium-sized, avg. 4-7 oz., red fruits with rich, full flavor for sandwiches and salads early in the summer. New Girl ripens earlier than First Lady II, and the fruits better resist over-ripening so they keep longer when ripe. With the still widely-grown variety Early Girl over 20 years old, it's time for a successor, and New Girl is better tasting and more disease resistant.

Pepper Varieties

Antothi Romanian

Maturity: 53 days pale yellow, 78 days red ripe. Tasty East European frying pepper. Jan Antohi was a touring acrobat when he defected to the United States. In late 1991, he visited his family in Romania for the first time in over 8 years, and came back with seeds of this delicious heirloom pepper. Smooth, 4" long, by 2" wide, tapered, pointed fruits ripen from pale yellow to red. Upright plants have good branch strength and yield early and heavily.

TIP: We've grow this pepper variety for three year and love the taste of this pepper when cooked - Romanians fry it in a hot skillet to experience the sweet full flavor, especially when red ripe.

Bush Bean

Jade

Maturity 53 days. Jade's beautiful, 6-7" long, slender, deep green pods are exceptionally tender and delicious. Large upright plants keep beans clenad and straight. Heat tolerant and high yielding even when stressed by heat or cold.
