It takes a great group of hard working people motivated to producing healthy food for Dragonfly Farms to succeed. Each member of our team is integral to the operation and we spend a fair amount of time putting together the team each year to try to assure a successful season.
If you are energetic, fun loving, hard working individual willing to dedicate your full efforts to the success of the farm, have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and are over the age of 18 we encourage you to apply. The following positions are available for 2016:
Field Crew
The field crew position requires a strong willed and bodied person willing to work outside in all weather conditions. This position is involved in all aspects of growing and harvesting vegetables. Farmers market duties may be required on a rotating basis.
The work schedule is a 5 day work week, 7-9 hour days. Being part of the weekend rotation is a requirement so the days off will fluctuate.
Positions start mid April through June 1 and run through the end of October. Preference is given to those candidates willing to commit to the entire season. There is a potential for winter employment for the right individual.
Prior vegetable growing, and/or tractor experience is a plus but not required for the right individual. Pay rate is from $9-11/hour depending on experience level. Housing may be available for some candidates.
